Jogo Dela : First Annual Capoeira Event: Women’s Event in Miami: March 6-7th

 We honored Queen Nzinga in the first annual Jogo Dela Capoeira Event.

Annual Batizado-

Once a year there is an event called a batizado. Literally it means “baptized”. It is a ceremony held to welcome the new students training capoeira in the group, as well as a Troca de Cordoes or “Change of Cords” for those dedicated students advancing in their training. There are workshops by guest presenters so that the entire capoeira community will join, share and grow as one in this celebration. Please stay tuned for the date of next Miami Cordao de Ouro Batizado.
